Executive Building Surveyor - Due Diligence & Dilapidations

  • Australian experience preferred
  • Must have polished biz development skills
  • Leadership experience preferred

This medium sized consultancy is one of Australia 's most respected Quantity Surveying organisations, providing professional management services to property investors across the country. In addition to this they also have a Building Consultancy Department.

Their Sydney office is urgently seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to manage and grow their Building Surveying department within NSW. Reporting to the Managing Director based in Sydney you will have full autonomy over the operations of the Chartered Building Surveying operations of the office including managing the relationships with key clients and leading and appointing building surveyors in the team.

Within this role you will take responsibility for:

  • Building and managing relationships with key private organisations and property owners
  • Submitting fee proposals for Due Diligence & Dilapidation commissions
  • Producing reports and providing all consultancy services to existing and new clients alike
  • Reporting to the Directors on a regular basis
  • Managing the quality of the reports and updating systems

To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:

  • First class business development skills - especially within the chartered building surveying business lines - preferably within Australia.
  • Good knowledge of the Sydney CBD property market including contacts with Building Owners and Institutions
  • Management experience of staff as well as key clients and project stakeholders
  • An ambitious attitude that will be commanding as well as infectious!
  • Superb communication skills both orally and written - this role requires sophisticated enthusiasm to build key relationships as well as grow a confident and expert team

The package will be a mix of base salary and performance based commission.
